Jahon joined Taylor Associates in December 2022 to head up our Private Client Tax team, bringing with him a wealth of experience and technical expertise, gained during his career spanning Top 10 and boutique accountancy firms. Over the years, Jahon has dealt with a wide range of tax compliance and advisory matters, advising clients on numerous aspects of both UK and international private client tax.
His areas of expertise include all areas of Income and Capital Gains Tax, Residence and Remittance Basis rules, Non-Resident Landlords, Non-Domiciliaries, UK and Offshore Trusts, Inheritance Tax, and complex estates; as well as assisting our clients on ATEDs and EIS/SEIS Venture Capital Schemes, to name a few. Jahon is ATT qualified and fluent in Russian, Turkish and Uzbek. Jahon’s motto is “If you can’t explain it to a six-year-old, you don’t understand it yourself” (Albert Einstein) and he strives to explains complex tax rules to our clients in a clear, succinct and approachable manner.
Outside of the work, Jahon enjoys swimming and spending time with his young family and supporting a certain Red & White football team in North London (and hoping they will clinch the title very soon)!
